It's very good beer Brett. Drank the shit out of it in San Francisco!!!
If that event existed in Australia I would go in a bag on Ben Moran's back wearing one of those hats that holds a can of beer above each ear shouting "Move out of my way or I will bum you senseless!"
This reminds me:
Me, Ben Moran and Luke Batchelor have vague plans to ride across Tassy on BMX's to raise money for cancer research. Anybody else in? It's not something that we can talk about and not do... Maybe we'll do it under that veil of Down Underground.
Is it Down underground or Down Underground??? Fuck! Will this ever end. . . I should really know eh?!?!

Paul, count me in on this one if it ever goes through. I am keen to help any way I can as well. My mum had cancer but she was fortunate enough to have been able to recover from it. So I'm all for furthering research so more people can have the same outcome as my mum.
Cheers.

Glad you guys are interested! Good to hear from you June!!!
SW Tassy is bit rugged to cycle around - there aren't really roads for a start...
A few ideas have been banded around.
If we have a car tailing us then we can start from anywhere and go east to west - It's a fair distance but we could comfortably do it in a week.
If we don't have crew then we cycle from the ferry terminal to somewhere and back. I guess it would be nice to go through Launceston or Hobart so that we have a good place to sleep on one of the nights.
We could also cycle to Cradle Mountain - climb it - then cycle back to the ferry...
Just ideas now - we did do a bit of planning and then went to Tassy to check it all out but like I said - it's still an idea...

I havent used a hv40 but I have a 30 and it is great. When the footage is played back on the tv it is insane. Theyre pretty durable and have a lot of custom settings.

Tomorrow begins the very first step in a project to build my dream woman... NO, this ain't 'Weird Science', and this ain't no regular woman. I'm talking about building 'Eleanor', the sexiest woman on the planet..!! A replica of the 1967 GT-500 Shelby Mustang.
Here's the one I'm looking at tomorrow... [img:2dkqa5vx]http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm74/Canaussies/5724837.jpg[/img:2dkqa5vx]
And here's what I hope the end result will look like... [img:2dkqa5vx]http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm74/Canaussies/mustang_1_big.jpg[/img:2dkqa5vx]
In the words of Borat himself... "Is this car come with the pussy magnet..??"

Dude, that is SO SWEET!!! [Image Can Not Be Found] [Image Can Not Be Found] [Image Can Not Be Found]
Such a hot Ford. The fastback Mustangs are killer. My old man had a 1969 Mach1 351Cleveland. I've also got a 1970 XYGT
You keeping it left hand drive? Apparently Aussie Falcons of the same vintage run the same basic firewall pattern and steering set up (just a mirror image of course) and they can be stitched right in.
What motor are you going to run? Not some crazy 429 big block are you??? [Image Can Not Be Found]
I would run a nice injected 351 stroked Windsor,... lighter, rev harder, and basically makes the car easier to steer.. The more weight you take off the front end of these early girls the better the respond.
Fuck I love early Fords...

I think the car comes with a 351 Windsor, anyway, which will be handy. I just have to overhaul it. Lucky for me my dad is a Panel Beater. Free body work and cheap paint..!! The body kit comes from Melbs, around $5k, for every panel needed to make it GT-500 replicated. And for an extra $9k, I can get a R-H conversion kit, with firewall, dash, and everything else.
Why the hell not, hey..??!! Only thing... where's my bike gonna go..?? lol

Lawl.
Nah, I'm not serious about the seat clamp, <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s --> <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s -->
However, it would be a perfect replacement for the 6mm stud/bolt in your typical Quamen chain tensioner. [Image Can Not Be Found]
Just to drop that tiniest bit of weight off the very end of the bike. [Image Can Not Be Found]

[quote="Paradoxium":2h0480a1]^ ^ Figures....
You could completely ditch the tensioners and wedge a tiny bit of aluminium in the slot. By the way, have you seen the proper seatclamps? 11 grams. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s -->[/quote:2h0480a1]
Werd berd!!!!
But the prob with 'simple slammers' or bits of metal is that, well, chains stretch.. I have to tighten mine every few months or so.
Oh.. and about the proper seatclamps...
Just wait dawg.. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s -->
