True, in a sense.
I could go on about the pros and cons of light weight bikes for ages...
I've had light arse bikes and chronic heavy ones too.
Lately I''ve found if you can spin/turbine in a relatively tight spot between tricks, a light weight bike is way more beneficial.. Counterweight rarely comes into play. Because you stay roughly in the centre of the whole thing while you pump more energy into it with your own body weight, It just brings you closer to the bike.
But just wait till the wind picks up... That's when a heavier bike doesn't give a shit. It stays on it's balance point easier, and basically doesn't care as much what is going on around it. It just 'hangs' there for longer than a featherweight.

My road bike probaly weighs less than my bmx bike and its fucking huge. More than one mph/kmh wind and its like riding into a brick wall. I saw those nylon bolts in the hardware store a few months ago and went hmm... Theres a bigger one that could work as a replacement compression bolt on some forks.

That Paris was actually lighter than 6kg because it had aluminium bars and a 1pc crank.
Now he's riding a Paris 3.
He would never break anything though because he is so dialled and skilled and goes so slowly.
It's crazy - his bike sounds like a biscuit when it hits the ground.
I'll get some pics next time I see him.

Whats up with these CAPTCHA bullshit codes? Those codes you have to enter to search a forum, or send an email, or login, or hit back, or do anything now. I cant read and mess up 99% of these and 80% of the 2nd ones. Apparently computers can still read them easier because they get harder and harder to read.
Tonight, I burn my bridges... grinding the brake mounts off my forks. Been working on scuffing turbine Hang-5's, but the damn mounts keep catching on my shoe, and taking some of my oomph from the scuff.
'STOOPID MOUNTS..!! YOU GO SQUISH NOW!!'[/quote:1y9w5wx0]
that`ll teach you to buy forks with non removable mounts...
Do you plan on shipping it to canadialand?[/quote:1zljte1w]
No no, my situation changed earlier this year. I'm now single and plan on staying that way for a while [Image Can Not Be Found] It's the Land Down-Under for me, for the rest of my days, me reckons.
I bought this car because I had initially wanted to spend time and money on making it look like Eleanor, from 'Gone in 60 Seconds', but now I'm kinda thinking I might keep her looking the way she is..!! lol What, you all think..??
