The forum is quiet, but alot of local forums are. If you would like more traffic, you could add a street section. It works in other countries. It would need more modding though. Just a thought.
Myself I've been doing alot of work around the house, doing stuff with the family, working most days including weekends, trying to wind up projects, paperwork, modding etc.. Keeps me busy, but I check this site most days and see its quiet, but as mentioned before, local scenes are small. Global always has traffic because its for everyone.
I haven't been to Imax for ages because of a combination of bad weather and working most weekends. The weather will get better and my work will slow down again, so I'll be back real soon.
Hang in there guys.
Why don't we add a chatbox at the bottom of our forum like they do in South Africa and the Philippines? Maybe Todd or Dave can do this? Its a box, you log in and can type a line or 2, chat with whoevers online, ask who's going riding etc. Thoughts?

That sucks Brett but the frame lasted a lot longer than I thought it would. Don't you have a blue and a yellow one?
I've got no real news. Got tattooed on Saturday so I can't ride for a while. At least another four or five days anyway. It's the worst thing about it... I just learnt proper cross-footed whiplashes too so it's a bit frustrating to not ride for a couple of weeks.
Don't know where Ben is but his bike is here. His back wheel is bust - and just after I built him a new front wheel. The hubshell is flared and cracked making the steel insert really loose so the driver won't engage. Geisha's. . . . . . [Image Can Not Be Found]

Nobody knows where Ben is except for maybe Ben. All I know is that he spent 4 days in Saigon. He might have met up with a girl called Linh. In fact I will email her now to find out. Done.
I'm assuming that the hammer is opium? Yeah Ben would probably do it with the first person he met who was really up for it. I can tell he wanted to do it here. There is a den opposite our place. Shady though. You'd want to buy it and do it somewhere safe.
As for greyman - Ben thinks everybody Asian is hot. . . He could be back here really soon to sleep under the kitchen table penniless. . .

I haven't been on my bike for a proper training session in weeks. Did a jam/comp session in Geraldton, about 430km North of Perth, for Freestylenow, but that's about it. Been working crazy overtime at work, and if I'm not there I'm spending time with my girlfriend.
One of the older guys at work is on long service leave, so I'm covering most of his shifts, workin hard to pay all my bills/debts by christmas, so I can start working on the Mustang in the new year.
Maybe with the anouncement of the next DUG it'll motivate me to get into training again.

I've been painting my frame so now that it's welded to give me a few more sessions out of it I'll be riding again soon... Also being on afternoon shift throws my usual schedule around so I'll be riding Most days again before the week ends...

I had some great balance these holidays
churned out the bmx for the first week and got well into time machines
rode road for the second week around geelong and ocean grove during the world championships and then raced an alleycat which was fun on sunday.
I'm hardly riding bmx at the moment because of school exams and fitness training for track sprinting which I'm taking up over the summer. Need to get my little legs pressing 300 kg, almost there.

i saw the funniest thing ever on sunday,grant,myself n ritchie r riding at imax n all the fixys r up the other end of imax gaying it up n they decide to prance past a bunch of skaters riding a homemade grind box next to us then it got hilarious!!!! As they ride past,1 gaylord decides to say something smart to a skater n it was on,i havnt seen soooooooo much abuse thrown at the fixys since i grabbed 4 of em n tried to start em due to their smartass remarks as usual,these skaters verbally raped these girls,sorry i mean men in tight supre jeans n little hats,and i havnt seen 75 or so people flee the scene so fast since grant took his pants off whilst riding (just kidding!!!),but seriously it was soooo funny...these 7 skaters got so amped at these guys n so did some of the general public,i shit you not the public were telling them to ride real bikes and to stop being fuckwits just as much as the skaters were,it was amazing to see that we arent the only people who think they are pretentious wanks aswell..Grant,ritchie n myself were just sitting there in awe as we always thought it was just us that thinks they were twats,guess not...What a great day!!!! And before anyone complains as usual saying we are ignorant or anything else,99% of you have sat there n given them shit at one time or another and dont say you havnt,dont let you seeming good hearted towards the world in front of everyone on the internet stop you from admitting they have pissed you off before or you havnt given them shit either..Great day riding aswell [Image Can Not Be Found]
